The hype around Agentforce is deafening. Every CTO at Accenture, Capgemini, and Deloitte wants an autonomous agent yesterday. But here is the hard truth that most "AI Gurus" aren't telling you:
If your Metadata is a disaster, your Agent will be a disaster.
In 2026, the most valuable skill isn't writing a prompt; it’s Architectural Hygiene. We are moving from the "Lightning Era" to the "Reasoning Era," and your technical debt is about to become your biggest liability.
1. The Death of "Spaghetti" Flows 🍝
The Atlas Reasoning Engine doesn't just "run" your automation; it chooses it. If you have five different Flows triggered on the same Account update with vague descriptions, your Agent will get stuck in a "Reasoning Loop."
The 10/10 Move: Refactor your automation into Atomic, Autolaunched Flows. Give them descriptions so clear that a five-year-old (or an LLM) knows exactly when to use them.
2. Metadata Pruning: The New Apex ✂️
